Weighing in at less than 45Kg,
Shark Marine Technologies Inc., Stealth 2 ROV is the most versatile
little remotely operated vehicle in its class. Easily handled by 2
people the ROV is uniquely constructed of high-tech durable plastics
that are immune to salt water corrosion. The beveled corners of its
protective exoskeleton not only reduce its drag in cross currents but
allow the vehicle to conduct internal inspections of smaller pipelines
than most vehicles in its class. It's rugged framework also allows for
easy mounting of a multitude of customized accessories such as a Shark
Marine gradiometer for pipeline tracking, or their new sampling station
for sediment analysis.
The Stealth2 topside, computer controller with its daylight viewable,
graphical interface, allows completely automated control of the ROV
functions. Settings are provided for auto-depth, auto-heading, auto
altitude and vertical trim as well as for monitoring the ROVs internal
environment. The computer controller may also be used for processing
other Windows based options such as sonar or vehicle tracking, thereby
eliminating the need to purchase and transport extra computer equipment.
On-screen displays simplify navigation and provide valuable information
during video playback. It's built in DV recording deck allows for
efficient high quality recordings of video as well as providing .jpg and
.mpeg capture utilities. The recorder may also be digitally linked to
any compatible DVD recorder for duplication or archiving purposes.
A wide variety of off-the-shelf accessories are available for the
Stealth2 including manipulator arms, cutting arms, scaling lasers,
various cameras; including zoom features or extreme low light, tracking
systems, sonars; including multiple receiver units and sub-bottom
profilers, gradiometers, magnetometers, recovery tools, cable reel

solutions for all sorts of unique challenges encountered by the
