The SV-GPS-OV1 overlays GPS latitude and longitude onto an incoming video source from an underwater video camera or ROV system. It has the option to add on the video source a heading, speed, date and time. The video output can be recorded for a permanent record of where and when an event occurs. The SV-GPS-OV1 requires a NMEA 0183 compatible GPS receiver.
The
SV-GPS-OV1 will update all on-screen GPS information each time a
complete GPRMC and GPGGA sentence is received from the GPS receiver.
Ensure that the GPS receiver is configured to output a NMEA 0183
stream at 4800 baud, 8-bit, 1 stop bit.
