HDV-LAPTOP
Surface Console The SV-HDV-LAPTOP is our most
compact, complete topside control system. More reliable in the field than
most DVD’s or DVR’s it won’t lose data in the case of a power
failure. It contains a High Definition Mini DV Recorder with a 7"
active LCD monitor. It can capture high-quality 1440 x 800 still image
Jpeg’s direct from tape which may then be downloaded to a computer via
USB or IEEE 1394 Firewire. It has a variable light control with
audio/video dubbing jacks for recording audio comments to the tape (mic
optional). Additional recording or display equipment may be easily
connected using the available audio/video out jacks. The unit is also
portable enough to fit under airline seats, all the while being protected
in a rugged waterproof case.
